- A user-centered requirement format used in product development that describes the context, motivation, and desired outcome of a user’s action using the structure “When [situation], I want to [motivation], so I can [expected outcome].” Unlike user stories that focus on personas and roles, job stories emphasize the circumstances and causal factors that drive user behavior.
